Injection Guide – All you need to know
When it comes to starting a steroid cycle many people tend to overlook the importance of injection technique. They usually focus on their goals, research drugs, stacking options and cycles. However they only start considering how to administer the substances into their bodies when they have vials, needles and syringes, in front of them. It is at this point that self injecting becomes a concern for individuals. In some cases people become so worried that they either abandon the plan altogether or choose to use cycles, which ultimately leads to suboptimal results.
If you visit any forum or message board related to steroids you will often come across questions about how to inject steroids. Some of the proposed methods are quite absurd. One method that stands out is injection of steroids. It is crucial for me to emphasize clearly; injecting steroids intravenously is extremely dangerous. Anabolic steroids are designed to be injected into the muscle tissue; however, certain steroids can also be injected subcutaneously into the layer of fat, beneath the skin. When administering steroids it is important to understand the preparation required for the injection.
The process involves a series of eight steps, which may seem complex at glance. However with practice the entire procedure can be completed in under a minute. And if you fail to adhere to these eight steps it could lead to complications, like infections or simply experiencing discomfort during injections along with an unnecessarily painful injection site.
Choose a Needle and Draw Air
There are options when it comes to needle sizes. It's important to choose the right one for the job. It's not necessary to use needles. Using one that is too small might result in the oil barely being able to pass through. In cases a needle size of 23g 25g will meet your needs and a length of 1" should be sufficient although you could also consider a length of 1.5" if available. Some people find that 1/2" needles work enough. They are only suitable for injecting into areas with very low body fat. Regardless of the needle size you go with, always make sure to attach a needle every time you inject. While it's not necessary to draw and release air into the syringe it does simplify the process. Before you start drawing any fluid into the syringe the initial step is to draw up an amount of air that's equal, to or greater, than the intended fluid volume. It's perfectly okay to draw a bit more air than required as it can actually make the process smoother.
Empty the Air and draw the Oil
First you need to release the air that you have drawn into the syringe. To do this insert the needle into the oil (the steroids you are using). Push out all of the air. Afterward keep the syringe in the fluid. Proceed to the step. To complete the process start by pulling the plunger of the syringe until you have the desired amount of fluid. It's recommended to draw a quantity than needed as there might be some loss, during Step 5. Some individuals prefer using a "Draw Needle" for this purpose, which involves employing a needle to extract the fluid and a smaller one, for injection. In this case you'll employ a 20g 21g needle to withdraw your oil into the syringe since it's more convenient and efficient.
Remove Air Bubbles
Now that the oil is in the syringe gently press down on the plunger while tapping your finger on the side of the syringe to eliminate any air bubbles. This might cause a small amount of oil to come out of the needle. That's why you drew up an extra. At this stage double check that you have the amount of fluid in the syringe.
Disinfecting and Plunge the Needle & Aspirate
Decide on the muscle you intend to inject and pinpoint the spot. Cleanse the area using an alcohol swab or by applying alcohol onto a cotton ball. While alcohol swabs are ideal, using a cotton ball is also sufficient. After disinfecting the area insert the needle into the muscle without injecting anything. Once the needle is securely in place gently pulled back on the syringe, this process is called Aspirating.
When you aspirate during an injection if the syringe fills with blood it indicates that you have accidentally hit a vein or blood vessel. In cases it is advisable to remove the needle and choose an injection site. Injecting into a vein or blood vessel can lead to a condition known as "Tren Cough", which can occur with testosterone although it is more commonly associated with Trenbolone, a notorious anabolic steroid. Tren Cough causes some of the steroid to enter the lungs and results in a cough that can be both frightening and painful.
Some individuals also report experiencing a taste in their mouth and even teeth discomfort. However there's no need to be overly alarmed about the possibility of Tren Cough. By aspirating and following our recommended guidelines you should be able to avoid any complications. If you have successfully followed these steps without any blood entering the syringe during aspiration you are now ready to proceed with injecting your steroid(s). Simply push down on the plunger until all the contents of the syringe have been emptied.
After learning how to administer steroids it is crucial to understand the steps to follow immediately after the injection. Unfortunately, many individuals tend to overlook this part of the procedure. This quick and simple three step process takes a moment but greatly contributes to ensuring a smoother overall experience.
In conclusion
Once you have injected all the oil it's important not to remove the needle. Let it stay in place for 20-30 seconds to make sure the oil settles properly into the muscle. If you skip this step there's a chance that some of the oil might leak out or worse settle under the skin, which can cause a sterile abscess. Now it's time to remove the needle. As you do so, place a fresh and clean cotton ball directly over the injected area. Apply pressure.
Hold the cotton ball in place for around 20-30 seconds. It's normal to see a bit of blood on the cotton ball (that's why we're doing this) but there is no need to worry. After removing the cotton ball, give the area a massage, for a second to ensure that all of the oil is evenly distributed deep into the muscle… With that you're all done!
